Mating Ritual is the vision of Ryan Marshall Lawhon, a 26-year-old Los Angeles transplant who’s currently prepping his debut album. Hilly Dilly says “The Los Angeles artist’s songwriting is once again at a level that really has no comparison”, Buzzband’s called him “more beefcake than cheesecake” and Neon Gold referred to Mating Ritual as “a game changer”.

The track Turn Your Light On Me is a duet between lead singer Sophie-Rose Harper and vocalist/keys player Kristy Marie Buglass. The song starts off with a retro drum sound and a classic groovy bass line followed by memorable melodies & harmonies.
