Los Angeles duo B00ty is breaking new ground with their latest church-esque track Holy – sounds a little left of Hozier. They describe themselves as a throwback 1970s primetime Sly And The Family Stone.
How did the song come about? “Edan freestyled the instrumentation while driving, Adam sang over it and 24 hours later, the song was done: an iconic-sounding soul ballad that doesn’t just stop you in your tracks, but glues you there till its four minutes of string swells and soul-searching have come crashing to a climax.” – 10Kislands
The indie act which consists of Edan Freiberger and Adam Epelbaum have a unique story. Edan has pursued every instrument possible, even perfecting the violin whereas Adam grew up with an obsession of films, comedy and screenwriting. The’ve received love from NME which premiered the video, which is cool as the track itself. To sum it up, Booty is cool, hip, and heading towards greatness. bootymuzk@gmail.com, James@somethingaboutus.la

Kings favorite Molly Moore released a new track Just a Dream feat. Brandyn Burnette. The new song is the 2nd release which comes off her forthcoming EP set for fall.
I’ve been writing about Moore for a while and on her path of self discovery, she’s finally hitting the right notes.
The indie starlet has been compared to Ellie Goulding and Lana Del Rey, and having moved to NYC to LA is when she started collaborating with an array of artists. Her songs have captivated EDM remixers found themselves on TV shows, and Moore herself has signed with Imagem Music Publishing.
Moore notes, “Never stop snowballing on what you’ve built,” she says. “Oh, and never give up.” Her hard work is paying off.
