Kings favorite Felicity is back with a new track Pilot With A Fear Of Heights. In the vein of Adele and Duffy, this Australian bred 18 year old has a serious vocal. Her first release Poison garnered 64k SounCloud streams and 400k plays on Spotify while the track Burnt Sugar further solidified the South African as a real contender. Felicity will perform at Rockwood Music Hall in NYC on February 23rd.

Do You Remember Me by elusive Australian artist David Zaoui has garnered over million soundcloud streams in a month. He’s influenced by his North African and Western European ancestral background, but it’s hard to dig up anything on the Sydney folk artist. His songs have been charting on Soundcloud under ‘Hot New Releases‘. The lyric video is well crafted, check it out!

Hollow Coves have released their 6 song album stopper Wanderlust. The indie duo based in Brisbane, Australia have been on the up and up with 5 millions streams on Spotify.

It all began when CBS drama series Scorpion featured the song The Woods which reached #1 on Hype Machine and THR’s Top TV Songs Chart. Influenced by Ben Howard and The Paper Kites, Hollow Coves could take their brand of infectious indie folk to the mainstream level. The band will embark on their first Australian headline tour in March.

I haven’t streamed a good dream pop track in sometime, but that all changed when I heard Icon by new comers Dakota. The band notes, “Icon is about trying to be all that your cheating spouse wants you to be, but finding out that there’s just no way. The only thing you can be and would ever want to be is yourself, the music video reflects this idea.”

The Amsterdam all-girl 4 piece released Leda, a 6 song EP, and since then have seen a flurry of blog love while landing on Spotify Fresh Finds Playlist. Check it out!
