Bad City who was profiled on Kings signed to Atlantic Records several months ago and just signed a publishing deal with Primary Wave Music.

They will perform at House of Blues in Chicago, IL on December 11th.

Unsigned The Daylights, who we profiled multiple times released a new video for
‘I Hope This Gets to You’.

The Daylights have been buzzing for a while performing at SXSW and showcasing for music labels. Maybe this will be the deal closer.

Also, this is just another example of an inexpensive video going viral. The truth is a big budget doesn’t necessarily buy creativity. Also, a viral video doesn’t guarantee a hit single. Do you remember OK Go?

Regardless, The Daylights have much stronger material than OK Go which puts them in a better position for success.

Check out the track Ghosts by The Canvas Waiting which has quickly become a favorite.

They are an alternative rock band from Austin, TX who recently work with CJ Eiriksson (U2, Blue October, Matchbox 20) and Stephen Short (Augustana, Camera Can’t Lie), completing the third record Chasing Color.

They will perform at Fitzgeralds in Houston Texas on December 4th.

(West Hollywood) on November 27th.
