Jules Paymer dropped the new track Blood. The track is the last release of 2022 as they/them prepares to drop 4 EP’s in 2023. Fans of Julia Michaels and Gracie Abrams will love Blood.

Jules switched their pronouns from she/her to they/them when talking about the track:

“I’ve always had heartbreak songs to listen to, but I’ve never had a song about the heartbreak that comes with living in a broken home, so I wrote one myself. ‘Blood’ is about forgiveness in the scope of family. It’s being released right before Thanksgiving because I know how hard the holidays can be and I want Blood to be able to be there for whoever needs it. Going home to a family that won’t allow you to grow unless it’s in the same direction as them is hard” – Jules Paymer

Originally from Los Angeles, California, Jules writes for established artists in LA and Nashville as she pursues her solo artist career.

Look out for Ben Provencial and the new track Hate Me Too. The song could find a home on Spotify’s Indie Pop playlist. Fans of LANY and Lauv will love.

“HATE ME TOO is about putting yourself in the shoes of the person you broke up with. The person initiating the breakup is saying it’s okay to hate me if it helps you heal. Though it hurts, both people know that the breakup was never malicious.” – Ben Provencial

The indie-pop singer-songwriter born in Atlanta and and based in Los Angeles, released his first song Not Alright in 2020 which has since streamed over 7 million times across all platforms. He followed up with Better Off and Forget About Me both of which landed on Spotify’s Fresh Finds and Fresh Finds: Pop playlists. Ben has played support shows with artists such as John K, Stela Cole, Lewis Watson, City of the Sun, and Tall Heights.

Jake Hays, the California based songwriter, actor and director, released his new single, “All I’ve Got to Say”. You’ll love if you’re looking for an electric guitar, soulful vocals, and a hook that won’t leave your head. That track would fit perfectly on Spotify’s New Noise or Rock This Playlist.

Co-written with one of his best friends, the two came together to revive an old chorus originally written in 2016, into the full rhythm-forward, tongue-in-cheek version it is today. Meandering between riff-heavy choruses and stripped-down electric guitar verses, the track demands your attention, only to leave you drowning in the murky waters of uncertainty.

Jake Hays has shared the stage with Bad Suns, Cold War Kids, and LANY. As a songwriter, his credits include writing with Matt Sorum (Guns N’Roses, Velvet Revolver), Grammy Award-winner Holly Knight (Aerosmith, Pat Benatar), and Cherie Currie (The Runaways). As a producer, he amassed over 69.8 million streams with his work for HUNNY’s “Televised,” and 7.1 million streams for his own work, including his lead single, “Sleep Talk.” The release of his debut EP, “Room 13,” was the first-time fans and critics got a glimpse at his self-titled musical style after a house fire ruined the body of work he was making for Maudlin Strangers.

Check out the indie pop-rock song Since You Left by Bianca Hosking.

When writing songs, you never know what’s going to happen throughout the process. At least that’s the case for Bianca Hosking, a singer-songwriter out of Melbourne, Australia. For her, writing comes from the subconscious, and every moment throughout can be a moment of discovery.

Bianca has always wanted to be a storyteller, gravitating towards artists like Taylor Swift, whom she points to as the reason for picking up a guitar as a young girl. Since then, writing songs has always been what she wanted to do, and what she believes she’s meant to do.

She believes that when someone listens to a song, it becomes theirs, in a way — “I like to capture an experience, blow it up dramatically, and then write about it,” she says.
