Up and coming indie act Yoke Lore releases the new track Fake You. You can hear hints of Peter Gabriel and Gotye. The wizard behind Yoke Lore is Adrian Galvin who hails from Brooklyn. Galvin notes, “The opening track, ‘Fake You’, is about the difficulty of realizing your perception of someone doesn’t necessarily match who they really are.” Moreover, he has nearly 40 performances lined up that began in April and goes through May which treks through the East Coast, West Coast, Midwest, and Canada.

Singer songwriter Maiya released her new single ‘No Stopping Me Now‘. The latest hip hop infused pop track follows her debut single Sidelines which premiered on Kings of A&R. Sidelines quickly clocked 100k+ streams on Spotify and won radio support from KDLW (106.3) Albuquerque, New Mexico. The latest single is more chill, but still delivers the knockout chorus. Maiya notes, “The world can be so negative. We need to get back to the good times. I wanted to write a feel good anthem and I believe I achieved that.”

We Say No by Tors sounds like a smash to me. It has all the hit elements of a sing-along indie anthem. The latest track comes off their upcoming EP ‘Wilder Days’. The indie act also performed a sold out UK tour with Tom Waker. The band attracted attention from tastemakers including Clash Mag along with BBC Introducing, Radio X, and 6Music. Moreover, the band notes, “We Say No’ is about depression and overcoming what can feel like a tidal wave of anxiety; the idea that there is worth and light in the struggle itself.” It has a great message and it’s fantastic track.
