The Audition. The Audition are a pop/rock band from Chicago, Illinois who just released their self titled record on April 28th via Victory Records. The record was produced by Mark Trombino, who has previously worked with Jimmy Eat World, Senses Fail, Blink-182 and Finch, amongst others. Emilie’s song “Brand New” was featured last night (April 30th) on the episode of Grey’s Anatomy. In fact, this will be her second song on the show this season. Songs from Emilie’s recently released debut album, Good Shake, Nice Gloves, have been featured in other outlets as well, including commercials for Sears and the Canadian company, Telus Communications. Her music will also be heard on an upcoming episode of Jennifer Love Hewitt’s show Ghost Whisperer.
