The deal is worth $900,000 according to insiders.

She will do fairly well as country radio and fans alike will support her.

Universal Republic Records will be the U.S. record label for the TV talent contest “The Voice”.

NBC’s “The Voice” will consist of 4 celebrity judges and will pick talent based on vocal skills, meaning, they will hold ‘blind auditions’. The judges can only hear the talent, but can’t see them. The artists will perform live and the TV audience along with the coaches will cast votes.
