Irish indie rockers The Academic have released the Bear Claws music video. The band will make a return to the UK this fall for their headline shows at Dingwalls, London on November 8th and Sound Control, Manchester (Nov 7th) before heading out and supporting The Kooks.

Up and coming Canadian pop artist Azim Roy has released Feel The Groove. Musical inspirations come from Michael Jackson, Prince, and The Weeknd. Ottawa’s biggest pop station Hot 89.9 will give the track a spin tonight. Azim just wrapped up performing CNE’s Rising Star and Toronto’s Youth Day.

Stafford, Vermont’s Noah Kahan releases his new single Hurt Somebody via Republic. The track which is about the fear of not being able to cut loose ends found itself in Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist.
Noah’s journey began when the songs he posted on SoundCloud blew up and then collaborating with producer Joel Little (Lorde and Khalid), dropping his debut single Young Blood which debuted at Spotify’s US Viral Chart surpassing 15 Million streams.
Noah supported Milky Chance on a sold out U.S. Tour and went on to perform shows with Ben Folds. Noah will head out on tour this fall with The Strumbellas.

“Cash Me Outside” girl aka Danielle Bregoli shocked the world with her recent signing with Atlantic Records. The music label houses Bruno Mars and Coldplay, and moved on the 14 year old rapper with the success of the track These Heaux which clocked 20 million YouTube views in two weeks.
Aton Ben Horin, global vice president of A&R at Warner Music Group, said, “Without a doubt, this girl is a real star with undeniable talent.”
The bottom line? Music labels will pretty much sign anything that goes viral, within reason.
