Indie alternative 4 piece Bear Fight have released the new track Harlem. The song which premiered on Impose Mag and was produced by The Colourist’s Adam Castillas, is an ode to old-school Harlem.

Before moving to LA the band made a mark in Palm Springs winning Best of the Valley award and opening for acts like Fitz and the Tantrum. Now, having played more than 250 shows, the band is ready to give Los Angeles and taste of Harlem.

Three piece synth-act Fake Shark impresses with their latest track Heart 2 Heart that comes off their forthcoming album. The song which premiered on Popdust is about the feeling when you’re home away from home, being extra reckless when you’re far from home.

Since 2007, the Vancouver outfit has experimented with genres but their new tracks have nicely settled to the bottom of indie rock/ synth pop.

Having topped the Canadian charts and built an international following, the three piece will release Faux Real through Light Organ Records on May 26th.

Singer-songwriter Rotana just released the video for her latest track The Cure. Her latest offering which centers around a self destructive lover follows the highly talked about ‘Daddy‘ which landed on Spotify’s New Music Friday & Apple’s Music Pop Hot Tracks.

The eccentric Saudi Arabian born singer comes off like a seasoned pro which was evident in her recent performance at Hollywood’s Hotel Cafe where she was received with flowers and marriage offers. Hurry…check out the video.

Alt pop duo Shallows unloaded the new ultra-catchy single Drive Away. I first fell in love with Los Angeles act when I heard Summer Sucks which lamented the crushing weight of the California heat wave. The latest ballad-esque Drive Away which borrows from chill wave (no pun intended) and shoe gaze dropped on Spotify’s New Music Friday. Lastly, the pop outfit reached 100,000+ listeners on Spotify.

Lina Hansson aka Violet Days rolled a new single called Suck At Love. The track which is layered in synths coupled with a catchy melody line/riff premiered on The Line of Best Fit, combines all the elements of a pop hit. The track also made Spotify’s Global New Music Friday. It’s been up & up for the Swedish songstress since we featured her and named her a top 8 emerging artist in 2015.
