Meadowlark

Electro-pop act Meadowlark has released their latest single Quicksand. Offering the best in indie-electro pop, the duo consists of Kate McGill and Daniel Broadley, that are building a solid fanbase abroad and online.

Meadowlark’s 2015 EP has surpassed over 4 million Spotify streams, while the single Eyes Wide received love from Radio 1’s BBC Introducing.

The latest single was inspired by a story from Humans of New York which documents a journey of a Pakistani man paying off his sisters medical bills.

The indie duo will perform 7 Layers Festival in Amsterdam on August 17th.

In An Insant

Ireland is proving to be healthy and active music scene producing quality artists that are able to cross its shores. Welcome the indie quartet In An Instant who formed in 2013 but are now seeing the fruits of their labor.

In 2014, the northern Irish band made a splash with their EP Light You Know and Love getting love from BBC Radio 1 and BBC Introducing.

Their brand new catchy single Where The Demons and The Devil Speak is the result of taking some time and rejuvenating their creative juices. With comparisons to 1975, check out these boys on August 4th at Eglantine Bar in Belfast.

Heathers

Twin sister duo knocks it out the park with their latest track Call Home. Ellie and Louise Macnamara who make up the Irish indie pop duo, and who go under the moniker of Heathers made a splash on the scene a couple years back, but 2016 could prove to be their biggest year.

The girls who’ve already had number one singles in Ireland are going global. With two summer tours and SXSW runs, a U.S. fanbase is sure to follow.

With regards to their latest track, it could be an indie pop smash. Hurry! Spotify UK just added Call Home‬ to their Pop List playlist.

Adam Jensen

Boston indie pop kid Adam Jensen is doing quite well with his latest single Sandcastles. The single comes off his upcoming EP and shot up the Spotify Top 50 US Viral chart landing at #25, while making a mark on popular trendsetters sites including YouTube EDM 15 list, Mr.SuicideSheep, Sirius XM AND The Chainsmokers ‘Nice Hair’ Playlist!

Jensen, who got caught up in illegal gambling ring made an escape to LA to record music, but found himself greeted by the police when he arrived home in Boston. Influenced by The Beatles, Jensen notes, “Musically, my goal is to keep growing as an artist – never getting stuck in one place.”

I’m gambling on Jensen!

New Atlas

Young Hearts by New Atlas caught my fancy. Lead by Liverpool based artist Owen O’Hagan the track is “Ridiculously promising” as noted by BBC Across the Line.

Although having gone through some line-up changes, the indie pop singer-songwriter is planning on taking his new band on the road with dates in the UK and Ireland.

Having been named BBC Northern Ireland’s hottest new acts by Radio One and winning critics over, it’s very likely we’ll be hearing more from New Atlas.
