Pleasure House

Had I’d make it to the 110 Above Festival which takes place at Gopsall Hall Farm in Leicestershire among ancient temple ruins I would be eager to check out Pleasure House who is set to perform.

The Birmingham indie rock band has done quite well since their short time on the music scene. BBC has backed the band and they’ve supported Prides, Sundara Karma The Japanese House, and Blossoms.

They released the EP ‘Show Your Colours’ which features the new track Cyan, an upbeat psychedelic indie rock anthem. Although it’s a bit hard to pin down the sound, but that’s what makes it refreshing.

Will Jay

Will Jay’s Gentleman‘ is heating up. The self released video was premiered on Baeble Music and blogged by gossip queen Perez Hilton.

His soon to be released EP was produced by Mikal Blue (Jason Mraz, Colbie Caillat) and Dan Book (Demi Lovato, Big Time Rush). He will perform on the Grow Wild Tour, which runs from May 19th – June 29th.

Influenced by classics such as The Beatles, the 19 year old singer-songwriter based in sunny LA got his start in musical theatre and found himself singing background ground vocals with acts from Linkin Park to Josh Groban. Acting isn’t hard for Jay either as he landed a guest role on TNT’s The Closer.

His large social network following is the result of his hard work and creative talents, and he does it gracefully….a classy gentleman!

Chelsea Lankes

Chelsea Lanks has released the track Bullet from her self titled EP via B3SCI Records to a warm reception. The Los Angeles based singer-songwriter has been embraced by tastemakers including TIME, Idolator, Noisey, and Fader.

Quickly becoming known for being authentic & unique, Chelsea made waves in 2015 with her cover of Motley Crue’s Too Young To Fall In Love.

With radio support in LA and a thumbs up from Spotify’s New Music Playlist, this indie pop songstress is well on her way.

EricaBitting

Fresh on the scene indie songstress Erica Bitting arises out of sunny Florida.

College student by day and indie artist at night, this twenty year old writes songs in her dorm amidst philosophy and art books, with pictures of Amy Winehouse & Lana Del Rey glued to the wall.

Erica just released the haunting acoustic track ‘Year of Nonstop Love‘ which is about finding love. Already building an audience around her college community, Bitting is a one to watch.

Fou De Toi

LIGHTS, SYNTHS, Fou De Toi! That’s what you can expect from the Stockholm indie act along with some Oh Oh Ohs. Fou De Toi has been on the Kings favorite list for sometime, since I heard the track Dreams which has now topped 2 million Spotify streams.

The three piece are back with a new track Don’t Know What To Do. The track was produced by Måns Lundberg (Deportees, Veronica Maggio) and mixed by Lars Norgren (Tove Lo). The band notes “The song is about feeling affection for the first time in a long time“.

Fou De Toi which means ‘crazy about you’ in French is slowly gaining in popularity in the Nordic music scene. Wait, Sweden band with a French name? Oh, well, whatever, nevermind…
