Nine year old Els (Elisakh Hagia) will soon release her single Slide It. It’s not released yet, but I’ve heard it, and no doubt it will move the fickle minded youngsters. The track was produced by multi-platinum producer Andrew Lane who has worked with Becky G and Hannah Montana. The Indonesian singer gained attention after posting covers on YouTube and took second in a well known national singing competition. Also, Els alternate version of her track Slide It In will feature the multi-platinum artist Silentó (Watch me (Whip Nae Nae) who has over one billion views on You Tube (Vevo).

Alternative rock act Joyous Wolf just completed a new album Enigma. The Orange County act brings back the classic rock sound — think Wolfmother, Audioslave, and The Raconteurs. Check out the video Mountain Man.

Aside from a song placement on the episode of new show WILL on TNT, rock station KLOS in Los Angeles has been a big supporter of the band giving them rotation. Known for their live show, check them out tonight at The Wayfarer (1/26) opening for Mount Holly.

Kings favorite Shannon LaBrie has released the new singe Crazy that will come off her forthcoming album. The song is inspired by a woman who lost her baby yet came through the other side. LaBrie notes “this song is for people that are crazy enough to love.” The Nashville singer-songwriter has a bunch of upcoming shows including a date at the City Winery in Nashville on 2/2. Don’t forget to give her track Political a listen which fits nicely in the ongoing political season.
