New Jersey rockers Deal Casino are back with a new EP titled Nika. The band who has created a buzz in the North East has signed with APA and has upcoming shows with Third Eye Blind, Dashboard Confessional and Brick + Mortar. ‘Nika’ was tracked entirely to tapeat Lakehouse Recording Studios in Asbury Park, NJ with producer Jon Leidersdorff to capture that vintage feel that the band believes to be lost on most modern recordings. Baeble notes“it’s easy to spot Deal Casinos influences on their latest EP, as they combine the vigor found in contemporary acts like Cold War Kids with the roots of classic, bluesy American groupslike ZZ Top.”

Loren, 15 year-old indie pop singer/songwriter will release her debut EP this fall. The teen cites a range of influences including Sia, Florence and the Machine, Bach and Chopin – creating a debut EP that embodies the young, smart female who cares to look a little deeper. At the age of 8, Loren wrote her first song (complete with lyrics, a melody, and a piano arrangement) called “Journey”. Loren uses writing to work through issues in her life, explaining, “the process provides clarity on life problems, helping me to solve them.” She continues, “Whenever I’m scared to do something, make decisions, anything that makes me nervous, I’ll dare myself. So when I was scared of making a record, I dared myself to do it.” Loren is an artist to watch.

Join The Riot, a Swedish 5 piece alt band have created a buzz with the infectious dance electro track ”Us against the wall”. The band is recording their debut album in a display window in the middle of the Swedish capital this month.
Kings became big fans of Kid Astray, a dance alt pop from Norway that just released an incredibly infectious track ‘Day in June‘ along with a video. They have been described as a motley crew of six friends (including a former junior golf champion, Italian Vogue model and piano prodigy), all in their late teens and early twenties, who knock out day-glo, indie-tinged dance-pop with the effortless ease of musicians with pure pop running through their veins.
We fell in love with the track Tokyo by Nottingham electro-alt act DECO. This upbeat track is layered in synth, hooks, & originality. Think Imagine Dragons “Radioactive”. The single comes off DECO’s second EP ‘Minus’. Completing a mini UK tour this year, the band have recently performed venues including The Barfly, London, O2 Academy Birmingham, Rescue Rooms Nottingham and Kasbah Club Coventry.
Rebel Kites is making some noise with their own brand of folk rock. The London five piece garnered thousands of listens on Soundcloud in the first week of the release and the record received national airplay on BBC Radio and premiered on Indie Shuffle.
