News Update: Kings favorite The Wrecking just self released a sophomore album that landed on the New & Noteworthy section of the Christian/Gospel homepage on iTunes as wells as top 5 on Billboard’s Contemporary Christian Album chart. The Wrecking is a pop/rock band that hails from Portland Maine with musical references as diverse as Radiohead, Jimmy Eat World, The Daylights and OneRepublic. She is currently working on her debut full-length in Los Angeles. The Bravo show “Most Eligible: Dallas” just picked her up for a second season where you can hear her singing the theme. Buzz Track: Oh Yeah
Atlanta’s garage/punk/rock act Biters are buzzing. Bill Joey of Green Day recently gave them shout out during an MTV interview. The band cites Cheap Trick and Alice Cooper as influences and the band will embark on tour with Social Distortion this fall. Tour dates can he found here . “Hip-hop mogul Chris Lighty died Thursday morning after he shot himself during an argument with his ex-wife inside his Bronx apartment, sources told the Daily News. Lighty, 44 — a longtime manager of 50 Cent, Diddy, Ja Rule and Mariah Carey — put a gun to his head and fired after a spat with his former wife, Veronica, inside the South Riverdale apartment about 11:30 a.m., police sources said. Law enforcement sources said Lighty — who divorced his wife last year — may have been dealing with financial struggles, including owing about $5 million to the IRS. Lighty, founder of Violator Management, merged with another talent company to form Primary Violator around the time his divorce.” (NYDAILYNEWS)

She has been mentioned in The Independent’s most important new pop electronic artists list, as well as the breakthrough act in The Sunday Times. The first release Hold Your Horses was included in XFM’s X-Posure top 5 tracks last week and DJ Mag give Pati the thumbs up in their UP Coming section in this months issue.
