12 Year old Greyson Michael Chance who took the world by storm last week with his cover of Lady Gaga’s Paparazzi just signed with Interscope Records. His performance which can been seen on YouTube has attracted 12 million+ views in just a couple of days. The lesson to be learned? Because of the internet, anything is possible.

Varsity Fanclub has built a solid online presence and just a few days ago posting this cover of Justin Bieber’s “Baby” on YouYube, already garnering over 170,000 YouTube views. They also have another video floating around on YouTube featuring Miley Cyrus. Varsity Fanclub first gained public attention by showcasing at the EMI Music Rooftop in 2008 in New York City. Their debut single, “Future Love” was written by Ryan Tedder of One Republic and Evan Bogart and was released on iTunes. Their self-titled debut album was to be released January 13, 2009, but was pushed back and eventually shelved. The band is currently writing new songs. Contact: jasonmillerbiz@gmail.com
