Disco Curtis who just signed to Myspace/Interscope Records premiered their debut music video for “Ashley” on myspace garnering 40,000 plays beating out Jay Z’s new video for “On To The Next One. Has upcoming Vans Warped Tour dates.
Lets face it, making a record can be costly. NYC act Garen and his project Kill The Alarm funded his new record through the help of fans by communicating with them through emailers and social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook. He rose $15,000 in 6 weeks.

Susan Boyle sold another 93,000 copies moving 3.2 million copies less than two months.
