Runnin is a solid up-beat pop track by Launa. Right now, we are heading towards the slower tempos Selena Gomez “Lose You To Love Me” types and that’s why I like this track – it’s upbeat with a memorable melody. I won’t hide the fact that it really sounds like Sigrid. The 21 year old South Wales native, now based in Brighton draws influences from LÉON and Dua Lipa. She clocked over 95,000 streams on Spotify in 2019, garnered BBC Introducing support, and performed during The Great Escape Festival in May 2019.

Solarrio, aka David Barenboim delivers a great track Started This Yet. It sounds like it could be sandwiched between Gaga and Dua Lipa who all released sing along 80’s inspired tracks. He released his debut EP, “Solarrio”, in early 2017. The latest track was co-written with Pedro Vito (Jack Savoretti) and Craig Walker (Archive, Them There, WUSA). Heavily promoted Doja Cat has skyrocketed on the Spotify U.S. streaming chart with the track “Say So“. She lifted off with a Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” performance, playlist placement and a music video. Her U.S. dates are looking good too. Doja Cat signed to songwriter Dr Luke’s Kemosabe Records when she was just 17.

Irish pop singer Fi’ releases the new track All I Have. The Dublin electro pop artist garnered interest with our last feature and I believe this new track is a step in the right direction. I have no doubt she is going to pick up fans along the way while exploring her sound. She’s developing her live show with supports slots for sold out shows with Freya Ridings. Check out the track World Away by UK singer-songwriter Vanela. It’s a fun and playful pop with a catchy melody that arrived in a time where the national mood is dark. BBC introducing gave the song some love recently. The track was also added to Spotify’s New Pop UK Playlist. Her songs have appeared in The Sims 4 and ITV’s Ladies of London. She is wrapping up her first solo release with LA-based producer Zaro Vega.
