A one-off special issue of Smash Hits Mag will be distributed to central London Underground stations on November 4th in partnership with the West End launch of new musical & Juliet, which features the music of songwriter-producer Max Martin. The mini issue will include a feature on Max Martin as well as interviews with NSYNC and Britney Spears. The show feature songs from Backstreet Boys, Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Katy Perry.

Up and Coming artists Ren has two tracks on Spotify – Mind Games and Waves. The songs have accumulated over 2 million Spotify streams and was dubbed SoundCloud’s ‘Artist To Watch’. Check out the video which was directed by Lebni Thodakee, produced by Jonathan Coward, and features actor Cameron Kahin.

Update: The 17 year old signed with Geffen after she was spotted on Soundcloud’s weekly Artists to Watch. She’ll release her first single through label on November 13th.

Look out for Detroit-based singer LX and her debut single titled “Automatic“, especially if you’re a fan of future bass and trap. “The song was inspired largely by cars,” says LX. She first gained attention with two songs released on the label Spinnin’ Records. She also co-wrote the track “Beggar” that was recorded by indie pop band Smallpools. Give it a stream.

Spotify is touting Los Angeles based Arizona Zervas as the next breakout artist. The Spotify curating team moved the independent rappers track Roxanne to Today’s Top Hits Playlist after showing signs of life as a viral track. Now the track is garnering a million daily streams and he is finally getting offers from majors. But this isn’t the first time Zervas made noise. He first gained attention during the halftime of 2016 Super Bowl when he released a freestyle using NFL teams where the video became a viral success and reached over 8 million views in a week.

Thousands of people flocked to Kanye West’s Sunday Service in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, after a last-minute announcement. Jesus Is King marks his ninth consecutive album to debut at No. 1, giving Kanye his biggest streaming week in history with 197 million on-demand streams of its tracks. Kanye announced a follow up album “Jesus Is Born” that will drop on Christmas Day. Kanye told Zane Lowe at Apple Music’s Beats “I believe because God has given me a gift that I pray for and so many people love,” – “that if I stop doing it, he might start to take all the things away.”
