Adele had the biggest first week sales in the history of music selling 3.38 million copies of ‘25‘. An amazing feat considering the global music industry sales is at the historic low.

Note that 3.38 million were in album sales alone. No other album has sold this massive amount during the first week since the tracking of music purchases in 1991.

Colours In The Street track “Birds” has caught our attention with it’s big sound, big hook and melody. Early Coldplay comes to mind. The video also impresses and shows the vastness of this French band. If a newer artist is to cross continents, it very well could be Colours In The Street.

Adele’s ’25’ has sold over 3 million copies in America. What seemed impossible, Adele achieved. Her album ’25’ sold more than 3 million copies in the in less than a week. The album was predicted to sell 1 million, then 2 million, but never 3 million.

Deco

Nottingham electro-alt act DECO released a brand new song “Turn Around”. It’s a strong follow up to the previous tracks like ‘Tokyo’ and ‘Spain‘ as the band keeps the hooks and their unique melodies that have created their signature sound. They’ll headline at The Garage on January 22nd. The band has picked up some accolades along the way that included and opening spot for Depeche Mode at the LG Arena in Birmingham.
