Sydney singer-songwriter Allan Smithy who released the single “The Streets” a few weeks ago has premiered the video that accompanies the song. The video beautifully captures playful moments between an elderly couple in the streets of Sydney’s Inner West. The song was recorded in Melbourne with Tom Iansek (Big Scary , #1 Dads) & mixed by Liam Judson (Cloud Control, The Laurels). Smithy notes “I think that 80’s Australiana sound is a national treasure and something we should wear proudly on our sleeves”. The London-based 6 piece The Night IV are making lots of noise. The band just released the new EP ‘Maybe It’s How I’m Feeling’. The track Turn Your Light On Me is a duet between lead singer Sophie-Rose Harper and vocalist/keys player Kristy Marie Buglass. The song starts off with a retro drum sound and a classic groovy bass line followed by memorable melodies & harmonies.
