The Runawayclub

Buzz Track: We’re Gonna Be Alright

The Runaway Club started in early 2014 when founder Alan Poettcker finally gave in to his addiction to synthesizers. Blending pop hooks with synth wave he starting writing and recording songs at his personal studio in Vancouver, Canada. Alan has toured worldwide, playing guitar, bass, synthesizers and singing in various bands. The Runaway Club released an 8 song EP followed by 2 singles. We’ve become immediate fans of the new catchy pop single “We’re Gonna be Alright”. The single is reminiscent of M83, Depeche Mode and New Order.

Cavaliers

Buzz Track: Blind Corner

Formed during a cold winter in Southern England, Cavaliers came together through a mutual love of pub lunches and seventeenth century monarchs. Taking the upbeat, driving melodies of Two Door Cinema Club and Bombay Bicycle Club, whilst incorporating a finger-tapping math rock tinge to the sound Cavaliers are receiving plaudits after each and every stage they grace. They have played shows with with King Charles, Don Broco, TTNG and Johnny Borrell, as well as performing at Butserfest. The band has received support from BBC 6 Music via Tom Robinson’s Mixtape.
