San Francisco rock band Train who had a hit 10 years ago with “Drops of Jupiter” managed to do it again with a song called
Hey Soul Sister“. An unlikely scenario for an older band, but worth reporting nevertheless. “Hey Soul Sister” is currently sitting at #4 on the iTunes top 20.

Vampire Weekend surprisingly sold 123,597 copies of Contra topping the Billboard charts. The band is currently enjoying sold out shows in NYC and the UK and recently performed on the Tonight Show.
