LA based singer-songwriter Geneva White releases the slow jam Frame blending jazz, soul, and folk. The Florida native was the lead-woman for Kan Wakan and opened for Arctic Monkeys and Royal Blood. She also sang back-up for Lorde, played piano for Mikey Mike, and has writing cuts with Jaira Burns, Austin Mahone, NoMBe, Josh Barry,and Low Steppa. Give it a stream.

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame announced the nominees for 2020. To be eligible recordings must have been released 25 years prior to the year of induction. The voting board consists of a international body of a 1000+ voting members – fans can also vote on Oct. 15 through Jan. 10, 2020.

Nominees include: Pat Benatar, Dave Matthews Band, The Doobie Brothers, Motörhead, The Notorious B.I.G., Soundgarden, T. Rex, Thin Lizzy and Whitney Houston are up for the honor for the first time. Returning nominees are Depeche Mode (two previous noms), Judas Priest (nominated for Class of 2018), Kraftwerk (nominated five previous times), MC5 (nominated four times before), Nine Inch Nails (nominated two times before), Rufus featuring Chaka Khan (three previous noms) and Todd Rundgren (nominated for Class of 2019).

Look out for Indiana native Lauren Sanderson. The alt-pop singer released the track ‘Hotel Room‘ and will open for Finneas this fall. This is her first single from her forthcoming self-released debut album, Midwest Kids Can Make It Big. The 23 year old kicked off her career as a motivational speaker and YouTube personality. Los Angeles based singer-songwriter Chazzy L releases a song “Floating” accompanied by a creative video. She is reminiscent of Elle King and Amy Winehouse incorporating jazz, blues, and horns. Quickly garnering blog love, Chazzy L says, “This is my first baby I have created and brought to life. They say to visualize what you want and lemme tell ya that shit is for real. I knew that Floating was special to me”.
