Up and coming r&b singer Cat Spare releases the track Hello. Inspired by Frank Sinatra, SZA, Kehlani, Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga, the latest track draws from contemporary R&B with a dance/pop flare. Speaking on the single, “The process of making the single was very simple and genuine… I sat down to write to some YouTube beats and it just flowed. Moments after, I ended up ripping the beat off YouTube, recorded over it, uploaded it to SoundCloud as a demo, and later, was getting hit up by producers to work with them.” Check it out!

Heather Jayne releases the piano/electro ballad If the Stars Align. Vocally she sounds a bit like Adele, but not musically. Additionally, if Adele released a new single now, this is what it would sound like. But Heather Jayne is her own artist, especially when you listen to the track Better Than This that clocked nearly 200k YouTube views. The 19 year old Bershire artist also made the semi finals on BBC’s ‘The Voice’ where she was mentored by both Boy George and Paloma Faith. Moreover, she just wrapped up headlining ‘Skyline Sounds’in London.

The Honest Heart Collective releases the new track ‘Separate Ways‘. Whether it matches the success of Journey’s MegaHit ‘Separate Ways‘ is unknown but both tracks have a common ancestor besides having the same title. It’s melodious guitar driven rock. And who knows, maybe ‘rock’ will have a resurgence and populate the top 40 once again. Anyhow, the Canadian 4 piece first single I’ve Got You clocked over 50,000 streams on Spotify and saw adds at Apple Music’s Breaking Rock playlist, as well as Rock and Canadian Indie stations.
