19 year-old Callum Stewart first gained interest from a feature on music blog. From his single Parachute which accumulated over 500k+ plays on Spotify to supporting Seafret on their upcoming tour in May, the singer-songwriter has come a long way.
While Callum continues to solidify himself as a melancholic tune-writer, his latest offering The Dam was co-written with Jez Ashurst (Gabrielle Aplin, Lawson) and Emma Rohan (James Arthur, Little Mix). He just wrapped up a headline show at London’s Servant Jazz Quarters and has a load of dates in March, April, and May.

It’s been a long time for Lucky Boys Confusion but they give us a warm welcome with a return of a new track It’s After Midnight. The Chicago based rock act have made a name for themselves delivering signature filled upbeat-pop tracks while touring the world. The bands loyal fanbase was gathered over a decade by the 4 piece playing as many as 250 shows per year.
The band is currently finishing up an album Stormchasers with producer Johnny K (3 Doors Down) for an April 14th release. “We’re unshackled!” exclaims Fergus. “We have no industry folks checking-in with notes, we’ve had no time-constraints – it’s literally the four of us in a room together working on new songs for the last two years, and we’re so excited to start sharing what we’ve made with everyone. It’s going to be an amazing year.

Known for her live show and having supported Lianne La Havas and The Noissettes, the electro queen is set for a festival tour along with TV appearances. The colorful Mino began 2016 with a splash with three single releases, live sessions on BBC, and a Record of The Day feature. On another note, I fell in love with her creative expression on instagram.

Polo, a synth-pop trio from Leeds have released the tracks Gold Horizon and Soak that comes off their forthcoming EP Alice. Singer Kate McHugh lost her phone, decided not to replace it, and disconnected herself from the information world. Time away led to deep heartfelt lyrics. The band just wrapped up several shows that had them performing their new EP in full. Kate notes, “The EP, more than anything, has allowed us to create a piece of work that defines who we are and where we were at one particular point. You can’t always do that with just single releases. We have a body of work that has really introduced us, and from here we can really explore.”
