Concord bought indie label Victory Records. The Chicago-based emo label helmed by Tony Brummel earned approximately $5 million a year in revenue. It’s been said that Concord paid about $27 million-$34 million for the Victory company. Victory Records was known for bands such as Taking Back Sunday, Bayside, Thursday, Hawthorne Heights, and Silverstein. Concord picked up 4,500 masters and 3,500 compositions. Concord will get the Victory name and the well known Bulldog logo.
