Up and Coming artists Ren has two tracks on Spotify – Mind Games and Waves. The songs have accumulated over 2 million Spotify streams and was dubbed SoundCloud’s ‘Artist To Watch’. Update: The 17 year old signed with Geffen after she was spotted on Soundcloud’s weekly Artists to Watch. She’ll release her first single through label on November 13th.

Jesus Is King marks his ninth consecutive album to debut at No. 1, giving Kanye his biggest streaming week in history with 197 million on-demand streams of its tracks. Kanye announced a follow up album “Jesus Is Born” that will drop on Christmas Day. Kanye told Zane Lowe at Apple Music’s Beats “I believe because God has given me a gift that I pray for and so many people love,” – “that if I stop doing it, he might start to take all the things away.”
Dua Lipa tops Spotify’s New Music Friday Playlist with the new track Don’t Start Now. The song which is built for the clubs and written about her ex, was penned by the same team who wrote and produced her breakthrough hit single ‘New Rules’

CEO Daniel Ek announced that Spotify grew to 248 million monthly average users in the last three months. Spotify forecast it would end 2019 with 255 million to 270 million monthly active users.
