I know it’s tough, but I turned off the news for a week. I was more creative. I thought by watching the news 24 hours a day that I was keeping myself informed, rather I was being propagandized. Here is a song lyric – turn off the news and your life will improve. The media will leave you feeling pessimistic, and overwhelmed. Why watch the news when its sole purpose is to ruin your day? The news will zap your creativity and feeling empty.

Lauren Daigle weighs on the current state of affairs in a near hour instagram post. She goes on to say the issue is the heart of man not caring about one another. Looking beyond color and seeing the soul. “There are ways to use anger for good, and ways to use anger for evil. Seeing what happened to George Floyd should illicit anger.”
She is fully for protesting but condemns the burning down of buildings. “It doesn’t serve a purpose. It goes against loving your neighbor as yourself. She warns of falling into the same trap of using force as a monster or rights as a monster.”

Lady Gaga dropped her new album Chromatica today. Ironically, she made a dance album, but the clubs are closed. But you can dance in your room with a mask and gloves. Seriously, I read all the online reviews of the album and they are pretty much same that the album is filled with terrific 90’s dance songs. The new album won’t change the face of pop music, but they will keep her fans satisfied. Why should Gaga try to re-invent itself her this time? She did it several times successfully. If she did it again, it may fail and should could risk her career falling off a cliff. At this point in her career, it’s better to say safe, stick with the endorsements, play some shows, and ride it all the way into the sunset.

The atmosphere has become increasingly poisonous. Right vs left, stay home vs reopen, mask or no mask..to many wars to count. Just look at the pushback Lana Del Rey received over her Instagram post. People are looking for a fight. I’m afraid to say the sky is blue. Look, we need music that unites. The people in the USA are better than this. We’ve always been the beacon of light to the world and we must do everything in our power that the light doesn’t dim. We only hurt ourselves. I wish some of the influencers and artists stayed out of the media wars. Don’t be deceived, the ruling class just uses the artists for their purpose. It doesn’t benefit artists careers, it benefits the agenda pushers. People want a break. They want to escape. The world is fragile. We need to come together. A new wave of songs that inspire unity is what the world needs.

Ariana Grande and Lady Gaga release a new song ‘Rain on Me‘. It’s uptempo and 80’s inspired. We need to give full credit to Dua Lipa for making the 80’s production cool again.

The collaboration was born after the two artists began friends, which Gaga says was due to Grande reaching out to her. “She was so persistent,” Gaga told Zane Lowe of Apple Beats 1. “She would try over and over again to be friends with me. And I was too ashamed to hang out with her, because I didn’t want to project all of this negativity onto something that was healing and so beautiful.”
There are so many lackluster collaborations today and pairing up popular artists doesn’t necessarily produce great results. I have a sigh of relief that Gaga accepted Ariana’s friend request because it’s a good song and one of the better collaborations.
“This is such a hectic and scary time for all of us,” she wrote at the time on Twitter. “And while I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this it just doesn’t feel right to me to release this album with all that is going on during this global pandemic.”
