News Update: Kings favorite Monks of Mellonwah released the music video to song ‘Neverending Spirit‘. The song can be heard on MTV’s The Real World which will air August 22nd. The band tour Australia that will kick off August 18th and will perform at the LA Music Awards on November 15th at the Avalon. This 4 piece indie/rock act has been on radar for a while and could breakout this upcoming year.

Florence and the Machine’s Spectrum was the most-streamed song in the UK this week. But, what does this mean?

“It means streaming music is the fastest-growing sector of the industry, overtaking downloads, which are due to see an increase of 8.5% this year.” Strategy Analytics forecast that spending on digital music – including downloads, streaming music and mobile sales – would overtake that of physical products like CDs in 2015, both in the UK and worldwide. Buzz Track: Secret

Kings favorite singer-songwriter Shannon Labrie just finished her new record that will be released in January. She has two upcoming shows in Nashville and her song ‘You Found Me’ will appear in the upcoming movie Cobu as well as the soundtrack. Labrie has been in the talks among several labels as well as publishing companies although nothing has been confirmed. Check out the track Secret – she has her own thing going on…

News Update: Burning Jet Black will release a new EP that will coincide with a performance at El Cid in Los Angeles on August 25th. Burning Jet Black has become a Kings favorite after listening to Magazine Girl. The band is fresh on the scene and consist of members of the Los Angeles based band The Whiskey Saints. For fans of The Black Keys and The Doors.
