Liv Slingerland has just released a new song called “In The Stars,” perfect for fans of 90’s indie pop. The song captures the emotions of heartbreak with its acoustic guitar and persistent synth bass.

Currently, Liv is touring as Post Malone’s guitarist. This new single marks her first release since her debut album “Hey You,” which came out through Righteous Babe Records. This label was founded by fellow guitarist Ani DiFranco.

Liv Slingerland has been a sought-after bassist and guitarist, working with emerging artists like Lauren Ruth Ward, Robert DeLong, Alex Lahey, and the Overcoats, before joining forces with Halsey. She even had the opportunity to perform on Saturday Night Live as a member of Olivia Rodrigo’s live band.

Her musical influences include greats like Tom Petty, Joan Jett, Chrissie Hynde, The Ramones, Jimi Hendrix, and Talking Heads.

Sianon, hailing from Irish heritage, was raised in Dudley, UK, and is currently a resident of Melbourne, Australia. She has recently released a contagious and radio-ready ballad titled “Loving You This Way.”

Sianon’s musical journey began when she taught herself to play the piano and guitar at the age of 13. She started crafting her own songs and gained experience by performing at open-mic nights and busking on Dudley’s streets. The New York band HOKO has just released a new song called “Ephemera.” They worked together with musicians Mikey Shoes and Zackary Dawes on this song. Right now, HOKO is touring with the bands Weathers and almost monday, traveling across the country and ending the tour on August 25th in Richmond.

HOKO creates a unique style that mixes alternative and experimental pop music. Their music has elements of psychedelia and rock. The band is made up of two members, Nathaniel Hoho and Jesse Kotansky. Nathaniel used to perform on the streets and sleep in his car before meeting Jesse in Brooklyn. Together, they’ve collaborated with other artists like Pond, Nick Allbrook, and J Mascis. They draw inspiration from musicians like David Bowie, Queen, and The Beatles. After signing with EQT in 2020, their song “OK OK” became a hit, and they gained even more popularity with their independent EP “Heathen,” which featured well-loved tracks like “Candy Eyes” and “Hellogoodbye.” They’ve performed at big music festivals like Lollapalooza and Bonnaroo and have supported artists like Milky Chance and Young The Giant.

Billy Ray Cyrus and FIREROSE released their new single, the love ballad “Plans.” The song was penned by Oscar winner Diane Warren, and it was produced by Justin Morgan. It was released via Damon Elliott’s record label, Kind Music Group.

“Firerose is one of the best lyricists I know and actually takes great pride in only recording songs that she has written,” Cyrus shares. “So when she came to me one day so excited about a song she’d just received from another songwriter, needless to say, I was quite surprised. Then I heard the name of the writer and she played me the demo, and I realized her exuberance was justified. ‘Plans’ by Diane Warren – legendary songwriter. Mindy Notes, “Sweetness” is one of a handful of songs I wrote at home during Covid. It’s a fun, disco-inspired pop song about those sweet and exciting early moments when you’re just starting to fall for someone. I had the melody and these 70s/disco visuals come to me randomly one day and like usual, recorded an embarrassingly awful voicenote version of it on my phone so I didn’t forget.”

Mindy White, a singer-songwriter from Nashville, TN, is known for her heartfelt lyrics, dreamy-pop vocals, and catchy melodies.
